In heliocentric astrology, which places the Sun at the center of the horoscope, Earth is considered an astrological factor and is always placed opposite where the Sun would be in an Earth-based (geocentric) chart. Perhap someone else will come to the rescue! Top I am not sure that I have answered your apparently simple question very well at all. The effect of earth 's environment is perhaps a separate field of study, although earth is subject to the influence of the planets, as we are by virtue of our birth and our presence on this planet. The environment of earth would also have impact on us, but although we are part of the universe, earth is our immediate reality. The same forces which move the planets also move us and by observing them we can understand and even foretell what might happent to us.Īstrology does consider alchemy too, which looks at the elements of which we are composed, and the influence of those elemental energies in our lives, related to the cosmos. The principle *As above so below" on which astrology is e based is significant. *Astrology* means the study of the influence of heavenly bodies.
